How Many Horses Do You See In This Beautiful Painting?

I’ll be honest though, the two optical illusion puzzles presented below really stumped me. I had to stare at them for a long time before I figured out the answers. Be sure to chime in with your answers in the comment section below. I’m curious to hear how many horses you were able to find!

This gorgeous painting titled Pintos painted by Artist Bev Doolittle back in 1975.It is unbelievably done in watercolor, which is surprising because of the strength of the colors, makes it look more like an oil painting.

Bev and her husband were traveling around the southwestern region of America when they encountered a herd of chestnut horses. Instantly, Bev was inspired and knew what she had to paint next. The way these chestnut horses stared and marveled at her and her husband left an unforgettable memory in Bev’s mind, and in Pintos, she brought what she saw to canvas.

There’s just one problem. How many horses are in the picture,,in which the landscape shapes and colors are almost identical to the main figures?
